Amsterdam born and -based singer Indra van de Bilt started playing the violin at the age of 6. One year later she joined the National Choirs, in which she has been singing until the age of 27. After that, she accompanied the female a cappella ensemble Wishful Singing as first alto until the end of 2018. Now her focus lies on exploring the different spectrums of her voice, while collaborating with several other musicians.
Next to playing the violin and singing, she is self-taught when it comes to playing the piano, guitar and ukelele. Furthermore she explores percussion instruments like the cajon and less known instruments like the Indian shrutibox.
Although she has not much experience yet in writing and producing her own songs, she regularly takes time to record "small and intimate songs" from her living room.
