Amsterdam-born and -based singer Indra van de Bilt started playing the violin at the age of 6. One year later she entered the National Choirs, in which she has been singing until the age of 27. After that, she accompanied a female a cappella ensemble Wishful Singing as first alto until the end of 2018. Now she focuses on exploring the different sounds of her voice, together with several other musicians.
Next to playing the violing and singing, she is self-thaught when it comes to playing the piano, guitar and ukelele. Furthermore she explores percussion instruments like the cajon and less known instruments like the Indian shrutibox.
Although she has not much experience yet in writing and producing her own songs, she attempts to home-record small pieces of music, that reflect short moments of thoughts, feelings and vibes.
